Welcome to the Spice Mines of Kessel blog, established on September 25, 2007. On this blog, I will post my thoughts and musings on the things I consider to be hobbies or personal interests. If I find something interesting, helpful, or just plain cool, there's a good chance I'll post it.
The name of the blog comes from a quote by C-3PO in the movie, Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, which is, "We'll be sent to the Spice Mines of Kessel, smashed into who-knows-what!"
Unlike the original Kessel, this blog is not known for "...dreaded mines, hard labor correctional facilities where convicts are often sent to extract valuable spice from the rock."
Yeah... There's none of that here...
