My Apple Laptop Wedding Cake

Nine days ago on September 18th, I got married to my wife. Part of the festivities, as with most weddings, is the eating of cake. Tradition has it that there are two cakes for a wedding: one for the bride, and one for the groom. I was given permission to choose any cake design I wanted for the groom's cake.

Given that I am of the nerd crowd, I decided to go with a cake that said something about my technical inclinations. I chose to have a cake that resembled an Apple laptop* (pictured below), since I prefer Apple computers for personal use. A friend of my mother's made the cake and I think she did a really good job. Unfortunately, I was unable to partake in the eating of this cake because it was consumed very quickly. I take it that it was quite tasty.

* The cake was modeled after a PowerBook G4.
